On July 20th, 2014, NSLI-Y students braved the heat, donned protective gloves, and took an active part in improving their host community by collecting garbage and bottles at Spartak Children’s Park in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. They were joined by alumni from the FLEX (Future Leaders Exchange) program, who also lent a hand in the clean-up. The students were happy to help beautify their host community and get to make new friends in the process.
