Each day, Tiarra displays enthusiasm and excitement for studying the Korean language in Korea—her first overseas experience. As one of the top students in her class, Tiarra excels by putting an enormous effort into language learning. Teachers and classmates have made note of Tiarra’s excellent Korean pronunciation, and locals are able to understand her quite clearly. Tiarra values language learning as she deems it crucial for building positive relations around the globe.

Tiarra is also an avid volunteer, and the only student in her class to perform community service before it was required. With the help of her host father, Tiarra devised a plan to teach English to youth at a local community center, which she put into action in early October. With her polite personality and friendly demeanor, Tiarra has established numerous friendships in school, as well as a special bond with her host family. She is well on her way of achieving her dreams of traveling the world, experiencing new cultures, and promoting cross-cultural understanding around the world.

Congratulations, Tiarra!
