Last summer the University of Minnesota NSLI-Y Chinese students had the opportunity to serve on a panel hosted by Education USA, a U.S. Department of State network that promotes U.S. higher education to students around the world. The event was conducted at the Shanghai American Center.

During this two-hour event, conducted entirely in Chinese, the student panel shared information on their high school experience with 60 audience members. The students answered questions relating to academic course load and stress, college preparation, extracurricular activities, and social and emotional support.
