Highlights from the 2019 NSLI-Y Summer Hindi program in India. Arrival in Pune! On June 21, the NSLI-Y Hindi students arrived in Pune, India and attended a welcome ceremony to initiate their summer abroad. Highlights from the 2019 Summer Tajiki program in Dushanbe, Tajikistan June 22nd: Arrival in Dushanbe NSLI‐Y students arrived in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, in the early morning of June 22. Morocco – YES NSLI-Y Rabat led a session at the YES Inbound Pre-Departure Orientation at the end of their second week. Summer Highlights: Community Service Abroad
Community service continues to shape NSLI-Y participants’ interaction with their host country in a manner that transcends spoken language: volunteering.
